Standing Committee on National Defence and Veterans Affairs met at 3:40 p.m.
this day, in Room 269, West Block, the Chair, David Pratt, presiding.

Pursuant to the Order of
Reference dated Monday, May 5, 2003, the Committee commenced consideration of
Bill C-35, An Act to amend the National Defence Act (remuneration of
military judges).
Lieutenant-Colonel Dufour
made an opening statement and, with the other witnesses, answered
questions.
The Committee proceeded to
Clause-by-Clause consideration of the Bill.
Clauses 1 to 11 carried
severally.
The Title carried.
The Bill carried.
ORDERED, -- That the Chair
report Bill C-35, without amendment, to the House as the Second Report of the
Committee.
At 4:20 p.m., the Committee
adjourned to the call of the Chair.
