MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS
Meeting No. 18
Tuesday, April 1st, 2003
The Standing Committee on National Defence and Veterans Affairs met at 9:08 a.m. this day, in Room 362, East Block, the Chair, David Pratt, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Claude Bachand, Leon Benoit, Cheryl Gallant, Joe McGuire, David Pratt, David Price.
Acting Member present: Deborah Grey for Rob Anders.
In attendance: Barry Hamilton, Advisor to the Committee.
Witness: From the Department of National Defence: Lieutenant-General M.K. Jeffery, Chief of the Land Staff.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed consideration of its Study on Canada-United States Defence Cooperation and on other related issues.
The witness made an opening statement and answered questions.
At 11:01 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
