MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS

Tuesday, February 8, 2000
The Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage met at 11:07 a.m. this day, in Room 237-C, Centre Block, the Chair, Clifford Lincoln, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Mauril Bélanger, Cliff Breitkreuz, Sarmite Bulte, Pierre de Savoye, Rick Limoges, Clifford Lincoln, Inky Mark, Dennis Mills, Alex Shepherd, Caroline St-Hilaire, Bryon Wilfert.
Acting Members present: John Solomon for Wendy Lill, Guy St-Julien for Paul Bonwick.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Joseph Jackson, Researcher Officer.
Appearing: Denis Coderre, Secretary of State (Amateur Sport).
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), meeting with the Secretary of State for Amateur Sport.
The witness made a statement and answered questions.
It was agreed,-- That the Committee meetings be televised when they take place in Room 237-C.
At 12:21 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
