The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $6,350.00 for the study of allegations of political interference in the 2020 Nova Scotia mass murder investigation, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the committee undertake a study on the Saskatchewan mass murder and that the following witnesses be invited to appear: Hon. Marco Mendicino, Minister of Public Safety; Jennifer Oades, Chairperson of the Parole Board of Canada and; Anne Kelly, Commissioner of Correctional Services Canada; that the committee report its findings to the House; and that, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the government table a comprehensive response to the report.

It was agreed, — That the clerk of the committee be authorized to grant access to the committee's digital binder to the offices of the whips of each recognized party.

At 4:46 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
