Pursuant to the order of reference of Wednesday, May 29, 2024, the committee commenced consideration of Bill C-70, An Act respecting countering foreign interference.

Sébastien Aubertin-Giguère, Sarah Estabrooks and Heather Watts made statements and, with René Ouellette and Richard Bilodeau, answered questions.

It was agreed, — That the members of the committee submit their suggested witnesses regarding Bill C-70 as soon as possible by Friday, Mai 31, 2024 at noon.

At 10:20 a.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
