Minutes of Proceedings
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, November 1, 2016, the Committee commenced its study of the subject matter of the Supplementary Estimates (B) 2016-17: Votes 1b and 5b under Citizenship and Immigration.
The Minister made a statement and, with Marta Morgan and Robert Orr, answered questions.
Shannon Stubbs moved, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee study the detrimental impacts of the closure of the Vegreville Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Case Processing Centre; that the study be comprised of at least three (3) meetings; that departmental officials be present for at least one meeting; and that the Committee report its findings to the House.
Debate arose thereon.
Gary Anandasangaree moved, — That the debate be now adjourned.
The question was put on the motion and it was agreed to on the following recorded division:
