Minutes of Proceedings
The Committee commenced consideration of a draft report.
It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.
It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Distress Call: How Canada’s Immigration Program Can Respond to Reach the Displaced and Most Vulnerable".
It was agreed, — That the Committee append to its report any dissenting and/or supplementary opinions provided that they are no more than ten (10) pages in length, in the same style and format as the report (Arial, 12 point, single space); and that it is submitted electronically in both official languages to the Clerk of the Committee, no later than Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. (EDT).
It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.
It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the Committee request that the Government table a comprehensive response to the report.
ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.
At 5:14 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
