At 12:04 p.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 12:12 p.m., the sitting resumed.
Egidijus Meilūnas made a statement and answered questions.
The committee commenced consideration of a draft report.
It was agreed, — That the draft report be adopted.
It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "The Human Rights Situation of Tibetans and the Chinese Residential Boarding School and Preschool System".
It was agreed, — That the Chair, clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.
It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the committee request that the government table a comprehensive response to the report.
It was agreed, — That dissenting or supplementary opinions be in Calibri 12-point font, left aligned, single-spaced, and be submitted electronically, in both official languages, to the clerk of the committee, not later than 5:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, June 14, 2023.
ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.
ORDERED, — That the clerk of the committee make the necessary arrangements for a press conference to be held on Monday, June 19, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. ET, after the presentation of the committee's report to the House on the study of the sexual and reproductive health and rights of women globally; and that the committee be represented by the Chair and a representative from each party.
