Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, January 29, 2024, the committee resumed its study of Canada’s approach to Africa.

The committee proceeded to give drafting instructions to the analysts for a draft report.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget of the Subcommittee on International Human Rights in the amount of $7,500, for the study of Georgia's draft law on foreign agents, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps and current situation in Iran, the work plan, as amended, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps and current situation in Iran, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of Public Safety, Democratic Institutions and Intergovernmental Affairs be invited to appear before the committee.

At 5:53 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
