Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, the Committee resumed its study of the perception of and public trust in the Canadian agricultural sector.

The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That a letter addressed to the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food in regards to the Committee’s study of perception of and public trust in the Canadian agricultural sector be drafted by the analysts and be distributed electronically by the Clerk of the Committee to all members of the Committee for approval.

At 11:12 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 11:23 a.m., the sitting resumed.

At 11:23 a.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the Committee continue to sit.

The Committee proceeded to give drafting instructions to the analysts for a letter in regards to the study of perception of and public trust in the Canadian agricultural sector.

It was agreed, — That no meeting be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, should all members of the Committee provide their written approval to the Clerk of the Committee for the letter pertaining to the study on the perception of and public trust in the Canadian agricultural sector.

At 11:27 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
