The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.
It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of advancements of technology and research in the agriculture industry that can support Canadian exports, each party sends its proposed recommendations to the Clerk of the Committee no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 9, 2018.
It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee invite representatives from the Canadian National Railway Company and the Canadian Pacific Railway for the first hour on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, to update the Committee on their state of readiness to transport agricultural goods to markets through the coming months, and stakeholders from Grain Growers of Canada and the Canola Council of Canada for the second hour of the meeting.
At 9:47 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
