The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.
It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.
It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: “Broadband Connectivity in Rural Canada: Overcoming the Digital Divide”.
It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.
It was agreed, — That the analysts and the Clerk, in consultation with the Chair, be authorized to finalize the pull quotes, the conclusion, and the summary of the report.
It was agreed, — That the analysts and the Clerk, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a news release for publication on the Committee's website and for distribution upon presentation of the report to the House.
It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the Committee request that the Government table a comprehensive response to the report.
ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.
It was agreed, — That the Clerk of the Committee make the necessary arrangements for a press conference to be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 10:30 a.m., after the presentation of the Committee's report to the House on Broadband Connectivity in Rural Canada; and that the Committee be represented by the Chair and a representative from each party.
It was agreed, — That, notwithstanding the routine motion adopted on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, the Clerk be authorized to distribute Committee documents relative to the Statutory Review of the Copyright Act to the Member of Parliament David de Burgh Graham.
It was agreed, — That the action plan presented by the analysts for the Statutory Review of the Copyright Act be adopted.
It was agreed, — That the press release prepared by the analysts, announcing the launch of the statutory review of the Copyright Act, be adopted.
At 5:10 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
