Remuneration Models for Artists and Creative Industries

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, March 29, 2018, the Committee resumed its study of remuneration models for artists and creative industries.

The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

Committee Business

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Committee invite representatives of the Broadcasting and Telecommunications Legislative Review to report on the results of their consultations, before June 20, 2019.

It was agreed, — That the Committee undertake a study to review the mandate of CBC/Radio-Canada as it relates to the Broadcasting Act; and that the Committee make recommendations and report its findings to the House.

At 4:25 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
