Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of the state of Canadian museums.

The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

At 8:58 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:02 a.m., the sitting resumed.

It was agreed, — That the draft report be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Moving Forward – Towards a Stronger Canadian Museum Sector".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the Committee request that the Government table a comprehensive response to the report.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

ORDERED, — That the Clerk of the Committee and the analysts, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a news release for publication on the Committee's website and for distribution upon presentation of the report to the House.

At 9:22 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:26 a.m., the sitting resumed.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of cultural hubs and cultural districts in Canada.

The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, the Committee resumed its study of gender parity on the boards and senior leadership levels of Canadian artistic and cultural organizations.

The Committee proceeded to give drafting instructions to the analysts for a report.

At 10:28 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
