Wednesday, June 5, 2002
The Sub-Committee on Children and Youth at Risk of the Standing Committee on Human Resources Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities met in camera at 3:38 p.m. this day, in Room 536, Wellington Building, the Chair, John Godfrey, presiding.
Member(s) of the Sub-Committee present: John Godfrey, Monique Guay, Anita Neville, Larry Spencer and Alan Tonks.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Lyne Casavant and Torina Simeone, Research Officers.
The Committee resumed consideration of its draft report on Aboriginal Children 0 to 6 years of age.
It was agreed, -- That the draft report on Aboriginal Children 0 to 6 years of age (as amended) be adopted as the Second Report of the Sub-Committee on Children and Youth at Risk of the Standing Committee on Human Resources Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities
It was agreed, -- That the Chair be authorized to make such editorial and typographical changes as necessary without changing the substance of the Report.
It was agreed, -- That the Chair be authorised to present the Report to the Standing Committee on Human Resources Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities.
It was agreed, -- That a news release be prepared and sent immediately upon tabling of the Report in the House.
At 4:26 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
