The Standing Committee on Human Resources Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities met in a televised session at 11:08 o’clock a.m., this day, in room 253-D, Centre Block, the Vice-Chair, Bonnie Brown, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Rob Anders, Claudette Bradshaw, Bonnie Brown, Brenda Chamberlain, Jean Dubé, Dale Johnston, Robert Nault and Byron Wilfert.
Acting Member present: Madeleine Dalphond-Guiral for Paul Crête.
In attendance: From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Bill Young, Research Officer.
Witnesses: Wayne Westfall, Recipient of Centennial Flame Research Award; Francine Arsenault; From the National Educational Association of Disabled Students:
Frank Smith, Coordinator .
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(c), presentation of the Centennial Flame Research Award.
Wayne Westfall, Francine Arsenault and Frank Smith made statements and answered questions.
At 11:58 o’clock a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
