The Standing Committee on Human Resources Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities met at 3:36 o’clock p.m., this day, in room 705, La Promenade, the Vice-Chair, Bonnie Brown, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Rob Anders, Claudette Bradshaw, Bonnie Brown, Brenda Chamberlain, Dale Johnston, Larry McCormick, Robert Nault and Byron Wilfert.
Acting Member present: Yves Rocheleau for Paul Crête.
Associate Member present: Pat Martin.
In attendance: From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Bill Young, Research Officer.

The Committee resumed consideration of Bill C-19, An Act to amend the Canada Labour Code (Part 1) and the Corporations and Labour Unions Returns Act and to make consequential amendments to other Acts. (See Minutes of Proceedings of Tuesday, March 24, 1998, Meeting No. 19).
