Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Wednesday, February 24, 2016, the Committee commenced its study of the Future of Canada’s Oil and Gas, Mining and Nuclear Sectors: Innovation, Sustainable Solutions and Economic Opportunities.

Frank Des Rosiers made a statement and, with Terence Hubbard, answered questions.

At 5:02 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:08 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Committee invite the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers, Canada's Oil Sands Innovation Alliance, Suncor Energy, Pembina Institute, Canadian Standards Association and Investissement Québec in relation to the study of the Future of Canada's Oil and Gas, Mining and Nuclear Sectors: Innovation, Sustainable Solutions and Economic Opportunities.

At 5:13 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
