Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, June 14, 2018, the Committee resumed its study of forest pests.

The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Insect Management in Canada's Forest Sector: Strengthening National Cooperation Against Current and Future Outbreaks".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That the Committee append to its report a supplementary opinion from the members of the Conservative Party provided that it is submitted electronically to the Clerk of the Committee in both official languages, no later than Friday, February 15, 2019.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the Committee request that the Government table a comprehensive response to the report.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $39,400, for the study of international best practices for engaging with indigenous communities regarding major energy projects, be adopted.

At 4:01 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:18 p.m., the sitting resumed in public.

At 5:37 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
