The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Surviving abuse and building resilience - A study of Canada’s systems of shelters and transition houses serving women and children affected by violence".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the Committee request that the Government table a comprehensive response to the report.

It was agreed, — That dissenting or supplementary opinions be in Calibri 12 point font, left aligned, single-spaced and be submitted electronically, in both official languages, to the Clerk, not later than noon on Thursday, April 4, 2019.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

ORDERED, — That the analysts and the Clerk, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a news release for publication on the Committee’s website and for distribution upon presentation of the report to the House.

It was agreed, — That, notwithstanding the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, in relation to the study of challenges faced by senior women with a focus on the factors contributing to their poverty and vulnerability, the Committee add a ninth meeting to be called at the discretion of the Chair.

It was agreed, — That, notwithstanding the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, in relation to the study of the treatment of women within the Department of National Defence, the Committee calls one fewer meeting at the discretion of the Chair.
