The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That, following the government written response received on April 11, 2018, the Chair of the Committee, on behalf of the Committee and in collaboration with the Clerk, request more information from the Office of the Co-ordinator, Status of Women about the changes to "the way Status of Women does business", including "enabling operational and capacity funding to increase sector capacity through skills development and community engagement".

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of Indigenous women in the federal justice and correctional systems.

The Committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

At 3:56 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 3:58 p.m., the sitting resumed.

At 5:25 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
