Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, February 1, 2018, the Committee resumed its study of clean growth and climate change in Canada: international leadership.

The witnesses made statements and answered questions.

Motion

Mike Lake moved, — That, following the Committee’s study of clean growth and climate change in Canada: forestry, agriculture and waste, the Committee proceed next to a study of clean growth and climate change in Canada: carbon tax, and that the study consist of no less than six meetings with witnesses.

Debate arose thereon.

Amendment

François Choquette moved, — That the motion be amended by replacing in the English version the words “carbon tax ” with the words “carbon pricing”.
