The Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage met at 1:43 p.m. this day, in the OPUS II, Delta Montreal, Montreal, Québec, the Chair, Gary Schellenberger, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Charlie Angus, Maka Kotto, Francis Scarpaleggia and Gary Schellenberger.

Acting Members present: Luc Malo for Diane Bourgeois.

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Joseph Jackson, Principal ; Marion Ménard, Analyst.

Witnesses: Association des producteurs de films et de télévision du Québec: Claire Samson, President and Chief Executive Officer; Vincent Leduc, Chair of the Board of Directors. Association des réalisateurs et des réalisatrices du Québec: Lise Lachapelle, Director General; Jean-Pierre Lefebvre, President. Union des artistes: Raymond Legault, President.
