The Sub-Committee on International Trade, Trade Disputes and Investment of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade met at 3:35 p.m. this day, in Room 307, West Block, the Chair, Sarmite Bulte, presiding.
Members of the Sub-Committee present: Bill Blaikie, Sarmite Bulte, Murray Calder and Charlie Penson.
Acting Member present: Maud Debien for Benoît Sauvageau.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Dan Shaw.
Witnesses: From the Dairy Farmers of Canada: Yves Leduc, Assistant Director, International Trade Department. From the Canadian Federation of Agriculture: Sally Rutherford, Executive Director. From the Sierra Club of Canada: Elizabeth May, Executive Director. From the Centre for Trade Policy and Law: William M. Miner, Senior Associate.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), The Sub-Committee continued its examination of Canada's priority interests in the FTAA process.
The witnesses made statement and answered questions.
At 4:58 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
