MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS
The Sub-Committee on International Trade, Trade Disputes and Investment met at 3:34 o’clock p.m., this day, in Room 306, West Block, the Chair, Bob Speller, presiding. In attendance: From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Daniel Dupras, Research Officer Witnesses: From Agriculture and Agri-Food: Mike Gifford, Acting Assistant Deputy Minister, Market and Industry Services Branch. Pursuant to its Order of Reference from the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade (See Minutes of Proceedings of February 26, 1998 – Meeting No. 35), the Sub-Committee commenced its study on future negotiations of the World Trade International Organization. The witness made an opening statement and answered questions. At 4:58 o’clock p.m., the Sub-Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair. |
