Pursuant to Standing Order 107(1), the subcommittee resumed its study on budget submissions.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage be granted a supplementary study budget of $21,066.00 for its study of job cuts announced at CBC/Radio-Canada.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development be granted a supplementary study budget of $5,900.00 for its study of Bill C‑353, An Act to provide for the imposition of restrictive measures against foreign hostage takers and those who practice arbitrary detention in state-to-state relations and to make related amendments to the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act and the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on the Status of Women be granted a study budget of $41,500.00 for its study of hate motivated violence targeting the 2SLBGTQI+ community.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Industry and Technology be granted a supplementary study budget of $18,000.00 for its study of credit card practices and regulations in Canada.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Finance be granted a supplementary study budget of $3,000.00 for its study of pre-budget consultations in advance of the 2025 Budget.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security be granted a study budget of $21,250.00 for its study of electoral interference and criminal activities in Canada by agents of the government of India.

At 1:29 p.m., the subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
