Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the subcommittee on Tuesday, October 27, 2020, the subcommittee resumed its study of the impact of COVID-19 on displaced persons, with a focus on displaced persons from Venezuela and Myanmar.

Bob Rae, David H. Mueller and Manny Maung made statements and answered questions.

At 7:54 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 8:01 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The subcommittee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the statements on the current situations in Zimbabwe and Nigeria be approved and published.

It was agreed, — That the nominations for the study of Women Human Rights Defenders received from Just Peace Advocates and Nithya Nagarajan be accepted for consideration by the subcommittee.

At 8:40 p.m., the subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
