Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(a)(iii) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, November 2, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of the use of Indigenous languages in proceedings of the House of Commons.

William Fizet and Jean-Pierre Corbeil made statements and, with Hubert Lussier, Pamela Best and Vivian O'Donnell, answered questions.

At 12:00 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:08 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Cheryle Herman, by videoconference from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, made a statement and answered questions.

At 12:35 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
