Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(a)(iii) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, November 2, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of the use of Indigenous languages in proceedings of the House of Commons.

The witness made a statement and answered questions.

By unanimous consent, it was agreed, — That, notwithstanding the routine motion adopted on Tuesday, January 26, 2016, regarding the distribution of documents, the excerpts of the Nunavut Hansard provided by John Quirke be distributed.

At 12:00 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:02 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

At 12:11 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
