Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, May 4, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of advancing inclusion and quality of life for Canadian seniors.

Natalie Sonnen, by videoconference from Chilliwack, British Columbia, Kevin Smith, by videoconference from Vancouver, British Columbia, Birgit Pianosi, Linda Silas and Vera Pawis-Tabobondung made statements and answered questions.

At 5:13 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:15 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of advancing inclusion and quality of life for Canadian seniors, the deadline to submit a brief be extended until Friday, November 10, 2017.

At 5:33 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
