The Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs met in camera at 11:03 a.m. this day, in Room 112-N, Centre Block, the Chair, Joe Preston, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Harold Albrecht, Scott Armstrong, Nathan Cullen, Parm Gill, Alexandrine Latendresse, Hon. Dominic LeBlanc, Tom Lukiwski, Joe Preston, Scott Reid, Philip Toone and John Williamson.

 

Acting Members present: Craig Scott for Nycole Turmel.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Michel Bédard, Analyst; Andre Barnes, Analyst.

 
Pursuant to Standing Order 106(2), the Clerk proceeded to the election of Vice-Chair.
 

It was agreed, — That the Hon. Dominic LeBlanc be elected Second Vice-Chair of the Committee.

 
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(a)(iii) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, September 25, 2012, the Committee resumed its study of access to information requests and parliamentary privilege.
 

It was agreed, — That the Committee proceed to sit in public.

 

At 12:06 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:07 p.m., the sitting resumed in public.

 
Pursuant to Standing Order 81(5), the Committee resumed consideration of the Supplementary Estimates (B) 2012-2013: Vote 5b under PARLIAMENT referred to the Committee on Thursday, November 8, 2012.
 

The Chair called Vote 5b under PARLIAMENT.
