Canadian Armed Forces' Role in the 2021 Afghanistan Evacuation

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, September 19, 2024, the committee commenced its study of Canadian Armed Forces' Role in the 2021 Afghanistan Evacuation.

The Minister made a statement and answered questions.

At 5:33 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 5:36 p.m., the meeting resumed in camera.

Space Defence
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, November 2, 2023, the committee resumed its study of Space Defence.

The committee proceeded to give drafting instructions to the analysts for a draft report.

Committee Business
The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the committee defray the hospitality expenses related to the informal meeting with the Speaker of the Parliament of Finland and an accompanying delegation on Thursday, October 31, 2024.

At 6:05 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
