By unanimous consent and pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the Committee continue to sit.
At 11:15 a.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 12:03 p.m., the sitting resumed.
It was agreed, — That, on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, the Committee invite officials from Transport Canada to appear for one (1) hour as part of its study of Air Canada’s implementation of the Official Languages Act; and that the Committee invite Daniel Jutras to apperar for one (1) hour as part of its study of the full implementation of the Official Languages Act in the Canadian justice system.
It was agreed, — That the Minister of Canadian Heritage and the Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship appear on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., to explain the government's response to the report Toward a New Action Plan for Official Languages and Building New Momentum for Immigration in Francophone Minority Communities.
At 12:48 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
