The Standing Committee on Finance met in camera at 7:30 p.m. this day, in Room 112-N, Centre Block, the Chair, James Rajotte, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Mark Adler, Hon. Scott Brison, Alain Giguère, Shelly Glover, Randy Hoback, Brian Jean, Hoang Mai, Wayne Marston, Cathy McLeod, Peggy Nash, James Rajotte and Dave Van Kesteren.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Mark Mahabir, Analyst.

 
The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.
 

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $142,784.76, for the Committee’s travel to Saint John's, Newfoundland; Moncton, New Brunswick; Montréal, Québec; and Windsor, Ontario, for the study on the pre-budget consultations 2011, be adopted and that the Chair seek approval of these funds as soon as possible.

 

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $189,470.30, for the Committee’s travel to Whitehorse, Yukon; Prince Rupert, British Columbia; and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan for the study on the pre-budget consultations 2011, be adopted and that the Chair seek approval of these funds as soon as possible.

 

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $35,707 for the Committee’s travel to Toronto, Ontario for the study on the pre-budget consultations 2011, be adopted and that the Chair seek approval of these funds as soon as possible.

 

At 7:36 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
