The Standing Committee on Finance met in a televised session at 8:46 a.m. this day, in Room 253-D, Centre Block, the Chair, James Rajotte, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Mark Adler, Hon. Scott Brison, Guy Caron, Raymond Côté, Shelly Glover, Randy Hoback, Brian Jean, Cathy McLeod, Peggy Nash, James Rajotte, Murray Rankin and Dave Van Kesteren.

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Mark Mahabir, Analyst.

Pursuant to Standing Order 81(4), the Committee commenced consideration of the Main Estimates 2013-14: Votes 1, 5, 10, L15, 25, 30, 35, 40 and 45 under FINANCE referred to the Committee on Monday, February 25, 2013.

The Chair calls Vote 1 under FINANCE.

Sherry Harrison made a statement and, with Jean-Michel Catta, Ross Ezzeddin, Nipun Vats, Nicholas Leswick, Galen Countryman, Hélène Filion, Diane Lafleur and Marie-France Caron, answered questions.

At 9:55 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
