MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS

The Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage met at 3:30 p.m. this day, in Room 7-52, 131 Queen Street, the Chair, the Hon. Rob Moore, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Scott Armstrong, Gordon Brown, Paul Calandra, Andrew Cash, Matthew Dubé, Parm Gill, Jim Hillyer, Hon. Rob Moore, Pierre Nantel, Scott Simms, Rathika Sitsabaiesan and Terence Young.

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Michael Dewing, Analyst ; Marion Ménard, Analyst.

Witnesses: Canada Media Fund: Nathalie Clermont, Director, Program Management; Sandra Collins, Vice-President of Operations and Chief Financial Officer. Canadian Paralympic Committee: Henry Storgaard, Chief Executive Officer and Secretary General. Own the Podium: Anne Merklinger, Chief Executive Officer.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, October 4, 2012, the Committee resumed its study on the Canadian entertainment software industry.

Nathalie Clermont and Sandra Collins answered questions.

At 4:06 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:08 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, October 4, 2012, the Committee resumed its post-mortem on the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games in London.

Henry Storgaard and Anne Merklinger made statements and answered questions.

At 5:17 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
