The Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage met in camera at 3:31 p.m. this day, in Room 7-52, 131 Queen Street, the Chair, the Hon. Rob Moore, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Ray Boughen, Marjolaine Boutin-Sweet, Gordon Brown, Paul Calandra, Andrew Cash, Matthew Dubé, Hon. Rob Moore, Pierre Nantel, Blake Richards and Terence Young.

 

Acting Members present: Lise St-Denis for Scott Simms and John Williamson for Jim Hillyer.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Michael Dewing, Analyst; Marion Ménard, Analyst.

 
The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.
 

It was agreed, — That the 4th Report from the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure, which read as follows, be concurred in:

1. That the meeting on Monday, February 11, 2013, be devoted to the consideration of the subcommittee report and to the discussion of potential witnesses for the study on the status of amateur coaching in Canada;

2. That the Committee meeting on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 be cancelled;

3. That the meetings on Monday, February 25, 2013, Wednesday, February 27, 2013, Monday, March 4, 2013, and Wednesday, March 6, 2013, be devoted to hearing witnesses on the study on the status of amateur coaching in Canada;

4. That the meetings on Monday, March 18, 2013, and Wednesday, March 20, 2013, be devoted to the consideration of the draft report in relation to the study on the status of amateur coaching in Canada;

5. That the meetings on Monday, March 25, 2013, and Wednesday, March 27, 2013, be devoted to hearing witnesses on the study on the Canadian entertainment software industry;

6. That the meetings on Monday, April 15, 2013, and Wednesday, April 17, 2013, be devoted to the consideration of the draft report in relation to the study on the Canadian entertainment software industry;

7. That the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure meet on Monday, April 22, 2013 to plan future business.
 

It was agreed, — That the Committee invite the following witnesses to appear before the Committee in relation to the study on the status of amateur coaching in Canada:
