The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

Motion

Rob Moore moved, — That the committee conduct a study on medical assistance in dying for people facing mental health challenges, consisting of at least two meetings, with all hearings taking place during the week of March 15 to 19, 2021, with written briefs being received up until the end of the day on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, and that the committee report its findings related to this matter to the House as soon as possible following the conclusion of hearings and the distribution of briefs.

After debate, the question was put on the motion and it was negatived on the following recorded division:
