Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Thursday, April 14, 2016, and section 20 of the Freezing Assets of Corrupt Foreign Officials Act, the Committee resumed the statutory review of the Freezing Assets of Corrupt Foreign Officials Act and the Special Economic Measures Act.

Richard Nephew, by videoconference from New York, New York, and Thomas Juneau made statements and answered questions.

At 4:30 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:33 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Andrea Berger, by videoconference from New York, New York, made a statement and answered questions.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $2,500.00, for the case study – Guatemala and Colombia - women, peace and security and countries of focus for bilateral developmental assistance, be adopted.

At 5:31 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
