Minutes of Proceedings
The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.
It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.
It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Supporting Peace and Development in Guatemala and Colombia for the Long-Term".
It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and analyst be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.
It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the Committee request that the Government table a comprehensive response to the report.
It was agreed, — That dissenting and/or supplementary opinions be in Arial, 12 point font, single spaced, justified and be submitted electronically, in both official languages, to the Clerk of the Committee, no later than 4:00 p.m. on Monday, November 28, 2016.
ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.
It was agreed, — That the analysts and the Clerk, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a news release for publication on the Committee’s website and for distribution upon presentation of the report to the House.
It was agreed, — That, in addition to the 50 copies printed by the House, the Committee print 450 additional copies of the Report with a special cover.
It was agreed, — That the Clerk of the Committee, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a draft budget respecting the costs associated with the production and printing of a special cover in colour, colour pictures in the body of the report and extra copies, in relation to its report on its study entitled “A Case Study- Guatemala and Colombia- Women, Peace and Security and Countries of Focus for Bilateral Development Assistance" for consideration by the Committee on Monday, November 28, 2016.
At 9:19 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
