Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, October 5, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of fire safety and emergency management in Indigenous communities.

Chief Randall Phillips and Kellyann Meloche made statements and, with Arnold Lazare, answered questions.

At 4:30 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:34 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Craig Lingard by teleconference from Kuujjuaq, Quebec, and Sean A. Tracey made statements and, with Benoît Plante, by teleconference from Kuujjuaq, Quebec, Tina Saryeddine and Kellyann Meloche, answered questions.

At 5:30 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
