It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $23,900.00, for the study of the Canadian Real Estate Market and Home Ownership, be adopted.
It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $9,600.00, for the study of a Comprehensive Review of Canada's Tax System, be adopted.
Gary Simonsen, Gary Mauris and Katherine McDowell made statements and, with Adil Mawji, answered questions.
At 4:31 p.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 4:37 p.m., the sitting resumed.
Keith Lancastle, Pénéla Guy, Paul Cardinal and David Graham made statements and answered questions.
At 5:31 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
