Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, February 4, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of Economic and Fiscal Outlook.

Jean-Denis Fréchette made a statement and, with Chris Matier, Mostafa Askari, Tim Scholz, Jason Jacques and Trevor Shaw, answered questions.

At 5:01 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:06 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Committee Business
The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

On motion of Ron Liepert, it was agreed, — That the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure meet as soon as possible to discuss a calendar of meetings for the consideration of the subject matter of Bill C-44, An Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on March 22, 2017 and other measures.

It was agreed, — That departmental officials be invited to appear before the Committee on Monday, May 8, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., on the subject matter of Bill C-44, An Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on March 22, 2017 and other measures.

At 5:26 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:27 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

At 5:42 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
