The
Sub-Committee on Veterans Affairs of the Standing Committee on National Defence
and Veterans Affairs met at 3:30 p.m. this day, in Room 307, West Block, for the
purpose of electing a Chair.
Members of the
Sub-Committee present:
Roy Bailey, Colleen Beaumier, Louis Plamondon, David Price, Carmen Provenzano,
Elsie Wayne, Bob Wood.
Acting Member present: John O’Reilly for Stan Dromisky.
In attendance: From the Parliamentary Research
Branch of the Library of Parliament: Wolf Koerner and Michel Rossignol,
Research Officers.
Pursuant to the Order
adopted by the Standing Committee on National Defence and Veterans Affairs on
Tuesday, October 23, 2001, election of a Chair.
The Clerk presided over the
election of the Chair.
Carmen Provenzano moved,
seconded by John O’Reilly, that Colleen Beaumier do take the Chair of the
Sub-Committee.
The question being put on
the motion, it was agreed to.
Accordingly, Colleen
Beaumier was declared duly elected Chair of the Sub-Committee and invited to
take the Chair.
At 3:55 p.m., the Committee
adjourned to the call of the Chair.
