The Sub-Committee on the Status of Persons with Disabilities of the Standing Committee on Human Resources Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities met at 9:30 a.m. this day, in Room 200, West Block, the Chair, Carolyn Bennett, presiding.

Members of the Sub-Committee present: Carolyn Bennett, Reed Elley, Madeleine Dalphond-Guiral, Nancy Karetak-Lindell, Wendy Lill, Anita Neville.

Acting Members present: Larry Spencer for Reed Elley, and Paul Crête for Madeleine Dahphone-Guiral.

Other Members present: Monte Solberg.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Sub-committee resumed its study of Canada Pension Plan Disability. (See Minutes of Proceedings of Tuesday April 9, 2002, Meeting no. 19).

The Sub-Committee proceeded to a round table discussion on Canada Pension Plan Disability.

At 12:16 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:52 p.m., the sitting resumed.

At 12:55 p.m., Marg Ruttan, winner of the Centennial Flame Research Award and Report for 2001 made a presentation.

At 2:20 p.m., the Sub-Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
