The Sub-Committee on International Trade, Trade Disputes and Investment of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade met at 3:39 p.m. this day, in Room 209, West Block, the acting Chair, Tony Valeri, presiding.
Members of the Sub-Committee present: Pat O'Brien, Pierre Paquette, Svend Robinson and Toni Valeri.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Peter Berg and Michael Holden, Research Officers.
Witnesses: From the « Coalition pour la diversité culturelle »: Robert Pilon, Executive Vice-President. From the Canadian Drug Manufacturers Association: Jim Keon, President. From the Canadian Chamber of Commerce: Alexander Lofthouse, Policy Analyst; Clifford Sosnow, Member, Lang Michener.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Sub-Committee resumed its study of an assessment of WTO negotiating issues from a Canadian perspective, (See Minutes of Proceedings of Wednesday, January 30, 2002, Meeting no. 17).
The witnesses made statements and answered questions.
At 4:55 p.m., the Sub-Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
