Meeting No. 6
Tuesday, June 5, 2001
The Budget Sub-Committee of the Liaison Committee met in camera at 1:15 p.m. this day, in Room 371, West Block, the Chair, Bill Graham, presiding.
Members of the Sub-Committee present: Bill Graham, Clifford Lincoln, David Pratt, and John Williams.
In attendance: From the Committees and Parliamentary Associations Directorate: Christine Fisher, Clerk of the Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage; From Financial Services: Linda Biard, Senior Financial Advisor.
Other Member present: Michel Guimond.
Consideration of budget submissions in accordance with Standing Order 107(1).
It was agreed, - That the Standing Committee on Human Resources Development and Status of Persons with Disabilities be granted an operational budget in the amount of $77,300 to complete payment of witnesses expenses and working meals on the Study of Bill C-2 and for studies by its sub-committees (Sub-Committee on Children and Youth at Risk ($25,000) and Sub-Committee on the Status of Persons with Disabilities ($25,900)).
It was agreed, - That the budget requests submitted by the Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage be stood.
At 1:28 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
