Thursday, May 10, 2001
The Budget Sub-Committee of the Liaison Committee met in camera at 8:07 a.m. this day, in Room 112-N, Centre Block, the Chair, Bill Graham, presiding.
Members of the Sub-Committee present: Bonnie Brown, Bill Graham, Clifford Lincoln, and David Pratt.
Other Members present: Maurizio Bevilacqua, Madeleine Dalphond-Guiral.
In attendance: From the Committees and Parliamentary Associations Directorate: Luc Fortin, Deputy Principal Clerk; From Financial Services: Linda Biard, Financial Analyst.
Consideration of budget submissions in accordance with Standing Order 107(1).
It was agreed, - That the Standing Committee on Finance be granted a budget of $300,000 for its Prebudget consultations.
It was agreed, - That the Standing Committee on Public Accounts be granted a budget of $22,385 to travel to Regina, Saskatchewan, from September 15-19, 2001, to attend the Annual Conference of the Canadian Council of Public Accounts Committees,
At 8:58 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
