The Standing Committee on Health met at 11:06 a.m. this day, in Room 209, West Block, the Chair, Bonnie Brown, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Ray Bonin, Bonnie Brown, Jeannot Castonguay, Yvon Charbonneau, Stan Dromisky, James Lunney, Rob Merrifield, Stephen Owen, Hélène Scherrer, Judy Sgro, Judy Wasylycia-Leis.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Nancy Miller Chenier and Sonya Norris, Research officers.
Witnesses: From the Office of the Auditor General of Canada: Maria Barrados, Assistant Auditor General; Ronnie Campbell, Principal, Audit Operations Branch; Douglas Timmins, Assistant Auditor General, Audit Operations Branch.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee proceeded to the consideration of Reports of the Auditor General of Canada to the House of Commons as follows: Chapters 15, 24 to 28, 2000; Chapters 14, 15 and 29, 1999; Chapter 17, 1998; Chapter 13, 1997.
Maria Barrados made an opening statement, and, along with the other witnesses, answered questions.
At 12:59 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
