The Standing Committee on Human Resources Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities met at 5:36 o’clock p.m., this day, in room 257, East Block, the Chair, Reg Alcock, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Diane Ablonczy, Reg Alcock, Rob Anders, Caroline Bennett, Claudette Bradshaw, Bonnie Brown, Brenda Chamberlain, Paul Crête, Jean Dubé, Christiane Gagnon, Dale Johnston, Larry McCormick and Stéphan Tremblay.

Acting Members present: Yvon Godin for Libby Davies.

In attendance: From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Bill Young and Sandra Harder, Research Officers.

Witnesses: From Queen’s School of Public Policy: Richard Chaykowski. From Elaine Gaudet & Associate Inc.: Elaine Gaudet.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of its Future Business

Richard Chaychowsky made an opening statement and answered questions.

At 9:01 o’clock p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
